There are nearly 20,000 mods for Fallout: New Vegas, featuring everything from small tweaks and aesthetic changes to additional quests and new characters to massive overhauls of the game's inner.

The man-killer perk seemed like the best to start to me, and the +skill points per level and +skill points per book are my next two favs for starting 3. The rest of the first few tiers of perks just aren't good enough, and it's better to make the early investment and get 100+ extra skill points over the game.

  • One of the hardest parts of Fallout: New Vegas is actually choosing what sort of character to play. There are so many basic archetypes to choose from and then there are almost infinite variations.
  • Im trying to find the best s.p.e.c.i.a.l to start out with if im going to use alot of guns.but i also want a high intelligence as well.what would be the best overall build to start out with.

Intelligence (for skill points / skills), Strength (for carry weight), and Agility (for AP) are my favorite stats, though I don't really favor heavy specialization as much in this game as I did in the original Fallouts. These are my perks. Traits. Trigger Discipline. Wild WastelandPerks. Level 2 - Confirmed Bachelor. Level 4 - Lady Killer.

Guns.its no longer called small guns from what I've read. repair and sneak. I would do lockpick but if its anything like fallout 3 lockpicking isn't that hard in the end and I can just quick save before a lock and then autopick and If I fail and break the lock just quick load and do it over and over again. As well one of the main ways I get caps is by stealing its the easiest way to do it and rarely gives you a big boost in evil affinity and its one of the few ways to get some of the more unique weapons in fallout 3 like the terrible shotgun, and the robotron and string knife.ect I don't expect it to be much different in vegas.
