I appreciate the response however, with the origin version of ME2 the unlock instructions on the wikia do not work.1. Even with the PCCPatcher the only way I was able to access the Dev console was with an additional Command in Origin itself. When EA 'updated' (.cough.cough downgraded) the Origin Launcher to the newer version they reset everything I had tweaked, so I lost the command.2. Every time I click the link for the manual instructions it sends me to a forum that doesn't contain the info needed.3.

Problem 3 every search engine everywhere thinks ME2 = ME lolSo I figured I'd try my luck here. Thanks anyways.

First, enable the console by going to DocumentsBioWareMass EffectConfig on your computer. Then open BIOInput in Notepad. Find the line Engine.Console and under it add the line ConsoleKey=Tilde. Then when playing in game simply press the tilde key (above tab) to open the console, then type in the desired cheat.

Step 4a: If you are unable to open up the developer's console, your keyboard may not be able to bind that particular key. The problem is commonly found in bilingual keyboards. To fix it, you will need to change the key bound to bringing up the console by editing the 'ConsoleKey' line. Change the word 'Tilde' to another key on your keyboard (like 'o' or 'KPenter') that is not in use by the game. After that your console should be functional!

Boot up the game and hit the ' key found next to your 1 key (or if you rebound it, they key you bound it to) and a black box should pop up, covering most of the screen. Here is a small list of commands to get you started (note that capitalization is not necessary):. 'Stat FPS': Displays your frames per second near the top right of screen. 'FOV #': Change the degree of your field of view. Replace # with a number between 1 and 170. 'ToggleHUD': Makes HUD invisible. Enter command again to make it visible.
